Rose McGowan

 

Rosa Arianna "Rose", born on 5 September 1973, is an American actress. After her film debut in a brief role in the comedy Encino Man (1992), McGowan gained more recognition for her performance in the dark comedy The Doom Generation (1995) and received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Debut Performance. McGowan's first film appearance was in the horror movie Scream in 1996. Later, she was the headliner of Jawbreaker (1999), Devil in the Flesh (1998) as well as Going All the Way (1997). In the decade 2000, McGowan became known to viewers on television for her performance in the role of Paige Matthews in The WB supernatural drama series Charmed (2001-2006). Quentin Tarantino directed her double-feature film Grindhouse (2006), in which she won the Saturn Award for Best Actress as well as the Scream Award to Best Scream Queen. She was a part of the action-thriller series Chosen (2014) as well as released her debut album, Planet 9, in 2018 and was followed by a new album in 2020. McGowan was recognized by Time as the Silence Breakers, the magazine’s Person of the Year in the year 2017. She spoke out against sexual assault and harassment and in particular the Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse cases. Brave is her autobiography. Citizen Rose was her documentary series. Both were released in 2018.

Yvonne Joyce Craig (May 16 1937 - 17 August the 17th of August, 2015) was an American dancer and actress most well-known for her performance as Batgirl in the 1960s' tv series Batman and as the green-skinned Orion slave girl Marta in the Star Trek episode "Whom Gods Destroy" (1969).
