Ayelet Zurer

Ayelet Zuer is an Israeli actress who has received praise for her performances. Her birthplace is in Tel Aviv, and first garnered the attention of Hollywood when she was cast by Steven Spielberg in her first English-speaking role as Eric Bana's character's wife the Oscar(r) nominated film Munich (2005). Since her arrival in the United States, Zurer has been in Studio films such as Sony Pictures' Vantage Point with Dennis Quaid and William Hurt and Samuel Goldwyn's Fugitive Pieces opposite Stephen Dillane, Paul Schrader's Adam Resurrected in the role of Jeff Goldblum and Willem Dafoe. Ron Howard's Angeles and Demons, opposite Tom Hanks, Darling Companion, a Lawrence Kasdan ensemble cast featuring Diane Keaton, Kevin Kline and Warner Bros. Man Of Steel in the role of Russell Crow. Ewan McGregor filmed Rodrigo Garcia, Last Days in the Desert. She also was waiting for the release of The Last Knights, a film directed by Kazuaki Kiriya. She is starring alongside Clive Owen. Recently, she won the Gold Nymph Award for Outstanding actress in a Drama Series at the 54th festival of television of Monte-Carlo for her role in the series "Hostages". Ayelet has been awarded the Israeli Film And Television Academy Award for her role as the lead in Nina's Tragedies. She received nominations for her role in the movies Only Dogs Run Free (from the Holy Apple Field), Desperado, Rutenberg, and The Dybuk from Holy Apple Field. She was the winner of the Haifa International Film Festival critic prize and received a star on Haifa’s "film boulevard" for her local and international achievements. Zurer also received the Israeli Television Academy Award for her role as the lead actress in "In Treatment," an acclaimed TV series that has been modified by HBO for American television. In 2014 She received an award for her performance in the best drama of 2014 "Shtisel" and was awarded the award for best actress in a drama for her portrayal of a brilliant surgeon facing the dilemma of life and death in Hostages which was sold to BBC4 and Canal Plus, and as a format to the American ABC. Golbary, Israel's most prominent women's clothing company is her "face". She is a producer, writer and illustrator. She is also a co-author on "Shorts" the first adult novel by Gabi Nitazn. Ayelet has worked on a handful of her ideas in Israel, the US and has expressed an interest in working internationally alongside directors from all overthe world, including unknown writers/directors.
