Aaron Jeffery

Jeffery is an award-winning New Zealand-Australian actor. Most well-known is
his roles in Water Rats as Terry Watson, Alex Ryan and Matt Fletcher which are
all from McLeod's Daughters. Jeffery was born in Auckland's Howick and moved to
Australia at the age of 17 years old. He studied acting at NIDA. After
graduating in 1993 from NIDA He began his career in television on the
children's programme Ship to Shore. Jeffery is well-known for his character on
McLeod's Daughters as Alex Ryan. He left the show in 2008. The actor was also a
part of the third season New Zealand drama Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery was the
main character Frank in Underbelly: Badness. He wrapped filming on 22 June. The
announcement of the casting for Neighbours' Bradley Fox was made three days
later. The news was that Jeffery was given the role of an officer in
corrections on Wentworth in October. Bevan Lee's Between Two Worlds was also
his role. In April 2021 it was revealed that Jeffery was chosen to be a part of
the new Netflix thriller Pieces of Her, which is adapted from the Karin
Slaughter novel of the same title. Jeffery's role on McLeod’s Daughters was
rewarded with the Silver Logie in 2007 and 2004.
