Kari Matchett Biography

Kari Mixett is an Canadian actress who is famous for her appearances in films like Apartment Hunting, â€Men with Brooms, and'The Tree of Life. She was raised in Spalding and attended high school in Alberta. Acting was something she discovered in her teens. In order to further her training in acting, she went to the National Theatre School' in Montreal, and then the Moscow Theatre School'. She first appeared on television in 1996 as a supporting actor in the Canadian series, 'The Rez. Also, she appeared on shows such as Ready or Not' and Forever Knight' that year. In the latter part of the 90s, she made her movie debut with the film called Papertrail. Later, she acted in movies like "Men with Brooms" and 'Cypher. She also appeared in the supporting roles in series' such as 'A Nero Wolfe Mystery,' and Blue Murder. Even though she was still acting in films throughout the 2000s and beyond however, her screen appearances were not as prominent as her TV appearances. She was also the main actress in 1998's Canadian drama series called 'Power Play. The show was a total of 26 episodes, and earned both commercial and critical praise. The actress was nominated for a  Gemini Award' for her performance in the series. Jude Lyon Matchett was born to her in June of 2013. However, she did not disclose the father's name. According to certain sources, her ex-boyfriend is of her son. Kari Matchett met T.W. Peacocke and T.W. Peacocke. They began dating in the mid-1990s. The couple was married in 1998. They divorced in 2006 after their marriage broke in the middle of the year.
