Peregrym began her professional career with the Lizbell Agency when she was 18 years old. [6] Her early modeling career was when she was urged by her agency, to move to commercials. She acted in commercials for Sprint Canada, Mercedes-Benz and the Olympic Games. In 2000, Peregrym made her acting debut in an episode of Dark Angel, which shot in Vancouver, British Columbia. She continued to play the roles of guest stars on The Chris Isaak Show and Jake 2.0. After an uncredited cameo in the 2004 superhero film Catwoman Peregrym made a debut on film in 2006, playing the lead role in Stick It, a film which follows a rebellious teen who is forced to return to her previous life of gymnastics. Peregrym then was selected to play Candice Wilmer who is an illusion-making Candice on Heroes. She was described in promotional material as "a female flirt". [8] She was due to appear in the episode titled "Parasite" however, she appeared for the first time in a non-speaking role in episode "Company Man" the week before. Peregrym was her first TV leading role between 2007 and the year 2009. Nikki Reed initially played the part in the pilot that was never aired. Reaper was about a man of the age of Sam who was a bounty hunter for devil.
